Malvern East Physiotherapy has introduced Manlates – Pilates for men.
Our unique Manlates program is great for men that experience:
- recurrent injuries or niggles
- regular back or neck stiffness and pain
- degenerative hip and knee conditions
- shoulder and arm pain
Designed for fitness, flexibility and core strength, our Manlates delivers a program specifically tailored for men. Using the principals of clinical pilates and strength and conditioning, our unique program can be used in isolation or to complement your existing gym or exercise routine.
Men have a very different physiological make up to women, generally being less flexible in their joints, ligaments and muscles. Combined with regular sitting, or inconsistencies in overall fitness and exercise, it can lead to pain and stiffness and regular injuries or niggles.
Tailored specifically for you, our program is designed to keep you active and injury free. Our Manlates is suitable for beginners through to seasoned athletes.
With a small group class of four participants per class, there’s no need to be ashamed of your lack of flexibility or co-ordination.
Our unique 6 week Manlates program includes:
- Initial assessment to establish an individualised pilates and conditioning program
- 6 weekly after-hours classes
- Home-based exercise program
- Follow up appointment
- Spikey massage ball and Grip Pilates Socks
All sessions are run by our qualified physiotherapists.
Classes are limited to four participants per term.
