Sarah is from the far away land of Dublin, Ireland. After obtaining her physiotherapy degree at University College Dublin in 2013, Sarah moved to Singapore where she gained valuable experience working in the acute hospital setting. The rotations Sarah covered there included sports medicine, orthopaedics, geriatrics, ICU and general medicine.
A strong interest in sports and musculoskeletal injuries lead Sarah to change to the private practice setting here in Melbourne. She has completed further professional development in the sporting ankle, knee and hip, shoulder strength and conditioning, patello femoral pain syndrome, running analysis and pain science. She has a special interest in knee ligament injuries.
A typical initial appointment with Sarah will involve a chat about what you want to get out of your session. She enjoys rehabilitating injuries through Pilates and strength training. Sarah also emphasises the importance of education and understanding your injury.
