Sarah graduated from a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. She started with our team at Malvern East Physiotherapy in January 2019. Sarah has a long-standing background in elite sports where she played state league netball and football. She has gained experience in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in her continuing work with the St Kevin’ Old Boys Football Club and in the Victorian Amateur Football Association Premier A division.
Sarah’s sporting background has given her experience with acute sporting injuries and she has a developing physiotherapist interest in sports injuries.
When you come to see Sarah, you can expect a friendly and informative consultation. She has a keen interest in a combined approach to rehabilitation including exercise, manual therapy and education.
Why do you love physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a profession where I am constantly learning and being challenged. I love working with all types of people and gain great satisfaction from helping improve patients’ outcomes – you get to make a real difference in people’s lives.
